Antares Audio Technologies has unveiled AutoTune Advanced, a cutting-edge vocal tuning software that aims to blend precise pitch correction with the preservation of a singer’s natural vibrato. This new flagship product is designed to cater to both subtle pitch adjustments and more pronounced tuning needs, all while maintaining the vocal expression inherent in a performance.
At the heart of AutoTune Advanced is a reengineered pitch-correction algorithm paired with a novel, patent-pending DVA engine. This technology is capable of detecting and preserving the natural vocal vibrato, offering a significant advancement in vocal processing. The software introduces multiple modes, including Live, Low Latency, and High Quality, to accommodate a variety of recording and production requirements. Live mode is optimized for real-time monitoring, while the other modes offer enhanced flexibility during tracking and mixing.
AutoTune Advanced is equipped with Creative Vibrato FX, enabling users to apply controlled vibrato effects. It also features a real-time vibrato visualizer, an updated Formant Designer, a custom scale workflow, a 78-note Visual Keyboard, and MIDI Perform for hands-on control over tuning and vibrato settings. These features are complemented by the retention of established controls such as Flex Tune and Humanize, as well as Classic and Modern modes tailored for different vocal production approaches.
To support users in achieving professional results, AutoTune Advanced includes a collection of presets developed in collaboration with industry producers and artists. The software became available on September 24 and is offered both as a perpetual license and as part of the AutoTune Unlimited subscription service. Existing subscribers to AutoTune Unlimited will receive access to AutoTune Advanced as part of their current subscription package.
